Asexual pride:

And because Ru Paul is a fool, Trains Pride:

Things people found extremely funny in the early 2000s or at least pretended to for reasons that aren't terribly exciting yet would still be very very difficult to explain even as someone who watched it all develop:
-mustaches, the one that still perplexes me the most
-llamas, understandable as they are pretty funny animals but this was SO pervasive for a while there
-top hats, with or without the addition of a monocle and cigar
-dead u.s. presidents, especially Lincoln and Roosevelt
-dinosaurs, usually just T. tex or velociraptors
-pirates
-ninjas
-cowboys, actually any job or class with its own associated outfit and movie tropes
-bacon
-waffles
-toast. Actually a lot of breakfast foods, yet oddly not in the same contexts
-common typos you see on teh internets!!!1
-spaceships
-all 70s aesthetics, with varying degrees of earnest affection
-australia
-combining absolutely any of the above in any way (EPIC WIN!)
-nazis, even when cast rightfully as the villains. It was just for some reason presented as even funnier if the cowboy dinosaur president fought against WWII nazis though no mention was usually ever made of what Nazis actually were or what they did
-Apes, which granted are still widely considered rather comical but it definitely peaked in like 2002
-Things exploding, which like apes can still be very funny but there didn't even need to be any additional joke
-Cupcakes
-Bears
-Sharks
-Garden gnomes
-the concept of car chases. Actually most of this list overlaps with action movie tropes, doesn't it?
-robot versions of things
-zombie versions of things
-extra hardcore hating on clowns and mimes??? This one kind of started in the early 90s
-pineapples
-Swedish accents and old swedish tropes or things America thinks are swedish tropes (lederhosen and yodeling)
-CHEESE yes thank you for this addition just the idea of cheese for some reason was seen as comedy gold somehow
I'm possibly missing a few
